ROUND TABLE and Thanks

The Round Table did not happen.  Questions were mostly asked along the way, and we all elected to conclude this long six-hour conference without a Round Table or Panel discussion.  Maybe next year?

Meanwhile, we have  reached the end of today’s conference, and we need to give more thanks, especially to all the presenters, who worked hard and gave us such wonderful presentations (it is not easy to create good presentations within ten or 15 minute boundaries). And thanks also to all you participants, for joining us in this experiment, to see how this kind of conference (focused on bird science, bird-study) might work and how good it might be. We hope you will all send us suggestions to improve this conference, in case we should run it again next year or later. Please feel free to send them to me (robben99@gmail.com) or to any COA Board members...  https://www.ctbirding.org/about/coa-board-of-directors/   .

You can also send questions about the individual presentations directly to the presenters, or to me and I will forward them to the presenters. You can learn more about each presentation and find reference materials for each at this website (which is where you are now):   https://birdsandscience2021.blogspot.com/
This new site is open now, half completed, and under construction this coming week.  Just click on that link and scroll down one long page to see summaries of each of our presentations, as the summaries get completed this coming week.

And, in conclusion,  this conference has been a production of the COA, Connecticut Ornithological Association, a non-profit and totally volunteer organization. We try to provide a balanced wide-ranging set of services to the entire birding community, including science-research and conservation advocacy.
If you would like to support our work (some of our publications and other services require funding), please join us here:

Thank you,
Take care,
And Good Birding
